4th of July

The night before the forth of July we went out to Harrington Reservoir with Kim's family. The kids played in the water and had fun.

Hunter and Jordan. I'm not sure why neither of them have swimming shorts on.

Poor Colby! I was busy taking pictures when I heard him yell out, OUCH!! I looked back through the pictures and found out why.
Can you see that huge rock headed right for Colby's head?

Hunter, Brook, and Jordan having fun in the sun.

Hunter holding up his sparkler. After we left the reservoir we went out to Craig Jones's house to watch them light off their fireworks. It was nice of them to share.

4th of July

We went up to Laurel on the 4th to go visit family, go to the parade, picnic, and stay for their fireworks show. They have an amazing show. It has kind of become a tradition of ours to go and stay the night.
I love this picture of Hunter at the parade. I think a flag just went by so he still has his hand over his heart.

Hunter and Randon decided to set up camp on the wagon as they waited
for the fireworks to start.

Boys will be boys!

When we got back from the Laramie Oleson reunion, Hunter found a toad in the yard. He was so excited about it. He brought it in the house and made a little home for it. It kept jumping out so we would find a bigger bucket, then a bigger bucket, then a bigger bucket. We finally found one that we could put a lid on. He kept it for a few days until he decided it wanted to go back home to it's mom. What a sweetheart!

Hunter wanted a picture with the toad on his head.

Oleson reunion - Part 3 milk can dinner

We gathered together as a family for a milk can dinner. It was so good. Mike and I have done this a few times since we have been home. It has become one of our favorites.
Mike jumped in to help serve dinner. He is always willing to help out even when he doesn't know anyone very well, yet. I love that about him!

Aunt Lillian always has such a beautiful smile. Her kindness and goodness shine through.

Hunter had a great time getting to know his cousins better.

Just showing that I was there, too.

Oleson Reunion-Part 2 at Bit-O-Wyo

We spent one night at the Bit-O-Wyo ranch for a chuck wagon dinner. We had great fun!
I really like this picture of Uncle Raymond and Aunt Lillian. Uncle Raymond looks so much like my Grandpa Oleson. I couldn't stop staring. It brought back so many good memories.
Hunter had fallen a sleep so I took a picture of what was cooking so I could show Mike what was coming. I knew he would like this.

Hunter and Mike eating dinner. You can tell by Mike's grin that he is in heaven when he has steak. I think Hunter is going to be the same way.

Laramie Oleson Reunion-Part 1

I am finally sitting down to post some pictures from the Oleson reunion in Laramie. We had a great time seeing everyone there and getting to know them better. I wish more of my family could have gone, but I took a lot of pictures to share. I will post some now and more later.

Hunter spent a lot of time swimming. He loved it. Lynette brought a life jacket, and he didn't need mom and dads help anymore. It was great. We didn't even have to get in the water with him. We just stayed close by.

At the Oleson Reunion in Laramie we were able to visit the Dinosaur Museum before it closed. Hunter loved it. It was fun to be able to spend a week in Laramie.

Memorial Day

I was able to go down to Tropic for memorial day which was really great. All nine of us kids were there so that made it really special. We had a good time, and the trip went by way too fast. We wanted to get a picture with everyone, but it was hard to get us all gathered together on memorial day. Steven had to work in the morning, David in the afternoon, and there was no way we were going to get the older boys to stop playing long enough to say "cheese". Tropic is always filled with adventures, and I think that day they were off searching for gold. So we gathered who was around and went to the cemetary and took a few pictures. I thought I would share a few of the pictures that were taken by my mom's grave.
