gobble 'til you wobble!

We definitely gobbled 'til we wobbled! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. This year we spent it with the Aagards. We had the dinner at Wade's house. The food was yummy, the tables were decorated beautifully, and the company was great. We played games after and just had fun spending time together.

I think Kyle and Leonard were in the kitchen when I took these pictures because they were here too.

Hunter and one of his best buddies!

Hunter loves to have his friend Joel over to play. Their birthdays are less than a month apart. Hunter calls Joel is best buddy. He also calls his dad that. They were having a lot of fun with balloons that I let them play with after my YW in Excellence night.

They love to wrestle and play. They get along pretty well most of the time.

Happy Veteran's Day!

Veterans day is always a special day for me. I am so grateful to all of those who are currently serving and have served our country in the past. I am especially grateful for my dad. I wanted to post this yesterday but did not have any pictures on my computer I could use. Thanks to Becca's blog I was able to copy these pictures so I am making this post now instead. My dad has sacrificed so much and continues to sacrifice his time and his talents in continuing to help his fellow soldiers, neighbors, friends, and family. I love him so much and am so blessed to call him "my dad". He has so many amazing talents and abilities. I look up to him so much and go to him often when I need words of wisdom and advise. Thank you dad for always being there for me. I love you and am so proud of you!

My greatest treasures!

With Thanksgiving coming up I've been thinking about all of my blessings and what I am thankful for. I am so grateful for the blessing of being a mother. There was a time when I wasn't sure if I would ever be able to have children, but after six and a half years our prayers were answered, and we were blessed with our Hunter. And now we have been blessed with our little Trigdon. My boys have not come easy, but I think it has helped me to appreciate them more and to recognize the tender mercies of the Lord. My boys have brought me so much joy. They truly are my greatest treasures.

Crafty Hunter!

I love watching Hunter create things and be artistic. He loves to draw, cut with scissors, paint, play with clay, and especially play with glue. Here's a picture of him playing with his clay. I love watching his little mind get creative.

It's amazing what you can create with foam strips, googly eyes, fuzzy balls, and GLUE!
A lot of glue.

Trigdon's Blessing Day

Trigdon's blessing day was a special day. It was great to have family come and support our little Trig. These pictures were taken at the end of the day, and Trigdon was not very happy. I tried to get one of him not crying but as you can see-strike three.

Halloween!

Happy Halloween!
my cute boys

Hunter was so excited for Halloween this year. When we got our decorations out at the first of the month he thought it was time to go trick-or-treating. When it would start getting dark at night he would tell me it was time to go. It must have been a long wait for a boy who is almost four. He loved carving pumpkins with his dad. He has been working on writing his name- notice the "H" on his pumpkin

Oh Yeah!!! Hunter cheering on his dad. Everything is more fun when power tools are involved.

We had a halloween party with all of his friends from play group. We get together every Wednesday and let the kids play. I think it is more for the moms sometimes than the kids. We have a lot of fun. Hunter was a fireman at the party, but on Halloween night he decided he wanted to be a skeleton instead. I can't believe I forgot to get pictures that night.
